Big Boy

Milo weighed in Friday at a healthy 11 pounds 8 ounces. It sounds like he's a fatty, but he's right around the 50th percentile- average weight for his age. He has also grown an inch since last time, so he's 22.5 inches long now. Soon he will be too long for the bassinet! He has finally outgrown his newborn clothes, although most of them said they were good for up to 8 pounds. I'm pleased that we got a solid 6 weeks out of them. Now he's in his 0-3 month clothes, most of which are too big.

Friday night we took a mini road trip up to my sister's house (aka Auntie Jen). It was a test to see how Milo would do in the car for longer than 15 minutes. We also wanted to see if he would sleep at all in a strange setting. Milo passed both tests with flying colors. He was great in the car, sleeping the majority of the trip. He also slept a ton while we were at my sister's house. There must have been something in the air up in Oakwood that made him sleepy. Hopefully Milo will do just as well when we drive to NY next week for Matt and Danielle's wedding. Wishful thinking?
