East Coast Tour 2009

Our good friends Matt and Danielle got married last Friday at the Boathouse in Central Park. When we learned Milo would have surgery I didn't think we'd be able to make the trip. Luckily both doctors we met with last week encouraged us to go- especially when I told them the wedding was in Central Park. They seemed very impressed by this. One doctor even asked to see pictures. I guess some people just really love weddings.

Last Wednesday the Price family loaded up our Civic and hit the road at 3:30 am to drive to Brooklyn. Overall, the drive went very well. Especially considering it rained until we made it to New Jersey. Thanks a lot tropical storm Ida (picture me shaking my fist at it). We arrived in one piece around 7 pm. Milo slept almost the whole time.

Thursday we hung out in Brooklyn during the day and ventured into the city for the rehearsal dinner (Tony was a groomsman). Milo chilled in the baby bjorn and was a perfect baby at dinner. Friday was the wedding and my sister watched Milo (she was also in Brooklyn visiting her BFF). Saturday we spent most of the day in the city with Milo in the bjorn. Milo made lots of new friends in a short amount of time. We got so many compliments on how cute he is. We left Sunday morning around 8:30 am and made it home just before 11 pm. Needless to say we were all exhausted from the trip. It was great seeing so many good friends in one place. Milo has already been to 8 states!

This was the best thing I ate while we where in NYC. An ice cream sundae from Lula's (an all vegan ice cream parlor!)
