19 months and counting...

I never thought I'd be one of "those" parents who would refer to their child in months instead of years. I kind of hate that I do it now. Since everything developmental is based on months, we are kind of forced to say our son is 19 months. I'm sure this makes sense if you already have a kid (kids) of your own.

So anyway... Milo is developing quite nicely. He seems to be adding a word or two or three everyday now. He catches on so fast too- we put together a new toy of his last weekend (a workbench) and he said "hammer" right after we told him what it was. I'm often amazed at how much he retains. It is so fun watching him learn. He associates laying down with sleeping. He will play with his toys and lay them down (more specifically his farm animals) then say "nite nite". I love it. I can't get enough of his animals sounds either. One of these days I will get a video of them on here for your viewing pleasure.

His current obsessions are balls, cars (pronounced dars), and skateboards (tatebore).

As soon as Milo gets over his runny nose/slight cough he will be able to meet his cousin, Piper, for the first time. Piper was born Saturday. She is adorable and I'm so excited for them to grow up together. Tony grew up close to his cousins and he still sees them on a regular basis. That is something I never really had since all my cousins live far away.

Milo learning his numbers. His math teacher mom is so proud.

Milo and a football and a playground... he was happier than he looks. He loves playing outside.
