Greetings. Anyone out there?
Sorry for the absence. We have been busy chasing Milo all over the house and yard. He is a non-stop running machine. Two weekends ago when the weather was super nice we took Milo to a deserted park and he loved every minute of it. Now I wish there was a park walking distance to our house. That would be so nice for Milo. We'll just have to make do with our yard. Maybe I can teach him to pull up weeds with me. Or is it too early for that?
Lots of people are having babies- 3 hatched in February. I'm going to admit, it makes me think about having another one. Key word there... think. I might be in trouble once I get to meet these babies. I'm excited that Milo will have playmates soon. This time next year he will be chasing them around parks. I can't wait.
Milo is doing very well. He had a nasty stomach bug two weeks ago, but other than that he is eating like a champ. He is eating things now that he never used to like squash and broccoli. He even ate some peanut butter and jelly. His new favorite food is strawberries. I was allergic to strawberries when I was little so I was hesitant to let him try them. No worries though- no hives for him. Phew! At school Milo has lots of friends. After nap time yesterday he held hands with Bella and they walked around the room like this for quite a while. So cute! Next week he starts his transition to the Snuggly Squirrels. This is the toddler room where most of the kids are around 2 years old. It makes me sad for him to move up, mostly because his teachers have been wonderful. They are very open-minded when it comes to his diet. I'm hoping his new teachers will be just as good.
What a snuggly little squirrel he is!
