School is out for the summer. A bit later than usual due to a week of snow days. I'm trying to keep my son busy. My plan is to go to a real pool at least twice a week and enjoy the kiddie pool on our deck one or two days a week. I also hope to get lots of baby hang time with Piper, Henry, Luka, and Noah.
I also starting taking Milo to the library last week. He loved it! He has always loved books though. The libraries in our county also host baby events once a week. Yesterday we attended the "Building Blocks" session and Milo had a blast. This session is open for kids two and under. The first twenty minutes or so was just the kids playing with toys and the parents making small talk (there were 2 other teachers there- hooray for teacher talk!). Then we read books and sang some songs. Milo really seemed to get a kick out of the singing and hand motions. I hope to do this once a week with him. I think it is good for him since there were some kids close to his age.
