Merry Milo

We enjoyed our first xmas with Milo last week. My mom, sister and brother came over for xmas eve dinner. This was the 5th year that my family came down for a completely vegan dinner. This year we had a yummy salad with cranberries and walnuts, stuffed acorn squash (stuffed with a vegan version of my mom's cornbread stuffing), mashed taters and gravy. Yum! Milo sat in his highchair for the first time that night and really seemed to enjoy himself.

Christmas morning we went to my parents house and opened presents there. Milo is definitely loved. He got a bunch of cool gifts including a Braves jogging suit, an activity gym, an awesome rocking chair, a swing, lots of clothes and toys. I can't wait for next year when he is a little more aware of what is going on.

That afternoon we went to Tony's grandmother's for another gift exchange and lunch. Milo got a nice picture frame, some cool tub toys, a pair of denim overalls, some new books and two cute Paul Frank clothing items. He was so excited he passed out on me.

On Sunday we drove up to Toccoa to visit Tony's dad. We had lunch there and had yet another gift exchange. Milo left with some squishy blocks, a few golden books, a UGA onesie and a stacking ring toy (the one that every kid has).

Here's dad helping Milo open his first piggy bank.

Tomorrow we'll be adding on to our house to fit all of Milo's new things. Well, that would be nice. Maybe next year.
