My maternity leave has flown by. I have two weeks left until I return to work. I'm trying to make the most of it. Luckily, the week I go back to work my friend Alison will watch Milo for 3 days and my mom will watch him the other two. Then I have two weeks off for winter break. I'll return to work again on January 4th and Milo will start daycare (aka a child development center). He will go there Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Some positive aspects of the daycare: it's right next to my work, I get a 10% discount, and when Milo starts eating solids, they have an alternate vegetarian menu. The negative aspect: strange people hanging out with Milo instead of me! I forgot to mention that Tony will work from home on Tuesday and Thursdays and hang out with Milo.
Other exciting news...I'm pretty sure Milo laughed at me for the first time yesterday. That was a good feeling. Last night during Milo's tummy time, he lifted his head all by himself. Tony and I felt like proud parents. Yay!
