Craziness

Last Friday Milo had another doctor's appointment. This was his 2 week appointment. In case you didn't know, most babies lose weight after they are born. Milo was 8 lbs 5 oz when he was born. When we were discharged from the hospital he was under 8 lbs. The pediatrician told us they like for babies to be back to their birth weight by the 2 week appointment. Well, apparently Milo is eating very well. Last Friday he weighed in at a healthy 9 lbs 4 oz. Wow! The doctor was quite pleased with this. Yay!

Last Thursday and Friday were a bit hectic and stressful. Tony's stomach had been bothering him since Monday. He was in so much pain on Thursday that he actually went to the doctor. Tony rarely goes to the doctor- this told me he was definitely hurting. Well, that doctor referred him to another doctor and that doctor sent him to the ER. It turns out that Tony's appendix had gone sour on him and it needed to be removed before it ruptured. Tony ended up having an appendectomy at 1 am Thursday night/Friday morning. I'm thankful that he recovered quickly and he was back to work a few days later. 

I have more pictures of Milo, but I'm too lazy to get them off my camera. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow in my spare time.
