Coming soon: Boy or Girl

I had another doctor's appointment this past Tuesday. My last appointment was a month ago so I was getting a little antsy to get an update on my little bean. Unfortunately, there was no ultrasound this time but I did get to hear the heartbeat for the first time. At first I just thought my stomach was making noises, but my doctor assured me that it was a healthy heartbeat- hooray! A nurse then took 4 or 5 vials of blood to run various tests. I also made an appointment for an ultrasound of April 24... so mark your calendars since we'll be finding out the gender that day. Woo-hoo!! 

On a different note, I am counting down to spring break. I cannot wait to get out of town with my husband and chill. We'll be headed up to Philly for our 5 year anniversary. While we are there we will hang out with Genna, eat vegan food, go to a Braves/Phillies game, and possibly take a day trip into NYC to eat more vegan food and hopefully visit Ken R and the Joneses. Only six more days of work until vacation!
