Future Dad here

Well, we haven't been to the doctor in a while and tomorrow will be our first visit to Dr. Shapiro, our obstetrician. The last time we saw our little bean it was less than two inches long, but now the it is around 5" (no "That's what she said" jokes, please). Not sure if we'll get a new ultrasound pic or not, but we'll see.

So far, the support and reactions from friends and family have been great (no offense to anyone, but JB's reaction might have been my personal favorite so far). And seeing so many friends have children at this time is making me really anxious to hold the little gal or fella. We know at least 4 couples that have had either their first or second child in the past couple of months, so it is pretty exciting. A fellow IT crew member here at work is also expecting his first kid a mere 2 weeks after ours, so that should be fun to experience.

Hopefully tomorrow goes off without a hitch and in a few weeks we can find out if we're having a boy or a girl!
