This past Sunday I had another baby shower. This one was thrown by my mom, sister, and friend Alison. I'm finally starting to feel a little more prepared for the baby to arrive. We received so many great baby gifts, many of which are essentials (baby monitors, a changing pad, a bouncer, a jumper, etc). We also got so many cute clothes. In fact, I think we have enough clothes for the first 9 months of the little guy's life!
My mom also asked guests to bring a book to help build a library for our baby. We received around 20 books and I've been reading them aloud as a test run the last couple of days. Cuja seems to enjoy them. So far Walter the Farting Dog, Chicken Butt, Wump World, and I Love My New Toy are my new favorite children's books.
I forgot to smile for a lot of the pictures. I think I was just overwhelmed.
This is our dog Cuja and her new friend Ian. Cuja was really good during the shower and enjoyed having someone her height around.
I was so excited about this cute onesie that I made a funny face.
These are some pictures my sister took. My mom and Alison also took some, but I'm waiting to get those.
Thank you everyone for a great shower!! I can't wait for everyone to meet the little guy! Only 6 more weeks!
