Our appointment was at 9 am, the first customers of the day. Once the ultrasound technician asked us if we wanted to know and we both said "Yes!!" she quickly showed us it was a boy. It was quite obvious too. At that point I cried for the first time. Well, I was lying down still so tears just started flowing out of my left eye. It was an amazing feeling. I finally feel like I can get to know the little guy camping out inside of me.
And even more importantly the little guy is very healthy and right on track. He weighs 10 ounces right now. My weight gain so far has been good too. I was afraid I hadn't gained enough, but my doctor assured me I was fine. My next appointment is May 21st and by then I should gain another 6-10 pounds. Yikes!
I hope to post some of the ultrasound pictures soon. Now we need to look through our book of 25,000 boy names and find something cool that we both like.
Congrats. It really is a beautiful thing
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dre!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the rush on the name? We were IN the hospital, with Stacey in labor before we decided on Everett.
ReplyDeleteActually, that was really stressful... don't go that route!
Congrats!!
