Mobile Milo

Milo started the summer off by learning how to crawl. For a week or so he would crawl a bit forward, then reverse over his tracks so it didn't look like he went very far. He's gotten much faster in the last day or so- moving much further too. Last Tuesday (June 1st) I put Milo in his crib for a minute while I changed the laundry. When I came back to his room he was standing in his crib with a big grin on his face. He was so proud of himself! Needless to say, Tony lowered the crib that night. Since then, Milo has been trying to pull himself up on just about anything- dressers, laundry baskets, me, etc.

Last weekend we took a somewhat spontaneous trip up to Chattanooga to visit the Dixons. They have been up there for 2 years and we have been bad friends by not visiting until now. We arrived around lunchtime on Saturday and left at 4:30 pm on Sunday. We really enjoyed our visit. We ate some good food, took in a minor league baseball game (the Lookouts), did some sightseeing (drove up to Lookout Mtn, saw a sculpture garden, walked across a pedestrian bridge), checked out a free museum, and did lots of hanging out. Good times. Milo was well-behaved the whole time. I love that little guy.

More pictures soon, I promise. Apparently my computer is out of space. I have to delete some things before I can put anything new on my laptop. Fun.
